About Us

My name is Pam and I'm the owner and sewist behind Naptime Creations.  With sustainability and slow fashion in mind, my goal is to give you something that will fit and last far longer than anything you will find in any big box store.  Many styles in my shop are gender neutral in fit and print.  I strive to produce high quality garments, made only from natural cotton and bamboo fibers that you can pass down once they are finally outgrown.

Naptime Creations was born from a desire to find high-quality, cute, and functional pants that fit my first baby.  We cloth diapered a long, lean baby meaning that most store bought pants created leaks and those that fit in the waist fit more like capris.  I discovered grow with me pants and haven't looked back.  They fit the in-between sizes and all body shapes, plus they are modest and comfortable.

In the summer you will find me at the Penticton Farmer's Market most Saturdays and enjoying the beautiful Okanagan with my family when I'm not sewing.  I am a mother of two young kids and wife to a wonderful husband who puts up with my ever expanding sewing "room".  Sewing started out as my me time during naps and after bedtime and I'm thrilled to see my little business demanding more of my time these days. I love curating quality fabrics, dreaming up pieces and sewing up items.  I still get excited the first time I sew something up for a collection and can't wait to see how it's come together.
